Can't wait for the next book!

I've just read Flypaper and now Flypaper Opus today. I enjoyed them both, but I have to say this was my favorite of the two. It was more action packed and I enjoy that a lot. We also got to know some of the minor characters better in this book, and how they impact the life of the main character.
At the end of the book, I half expected Corpse to log in as Admin and I'm afraid I would have been devastated. I really like her and hope she continues to be what she seems.
I've signed up for the author's email list and will definitely be purchasing the next book when it's available! I'd love to see this turn into a long running series. There seem to be enough psychos out there to fill quite a number of books and the writing is excellent.
I only caught a few errors in the two books which is quite remarkable anymore and they technically could have been word choice over errors.
I'd highly recommend this author, and think that this book could stand alone. You'd have a better understanding of the history of the characters if you read Flypaper first, but you're not left in the dark if you pick this one up first. That's always a plus in my mind.

Gory

I really enjoy the character of Nick Dawkins - I like the dark sense of humor the author has developed with him... While a horror writer himself, he still is humorous and in the midst of the dark plot, there is some comic relief in this story, and it is paced throughout very well. This book was a bit more gory than the first book.... lots more torture and harsh subject matter, but still very suspenseful and kept me reading. I will say, it wasn't as good as the first book either, but still worth five stars in my opinion.
Nick Dawkins is in over his head when he finds out a fan is mimicking the plots of his books in real life. I also like the dynamic between he and Sheriff Reed - makes me wonder if their "relationship" will develop further.
I recommend this book - better than most sequels in a series and the pace of the book was steady and kept my interest.

Just as Good as the First

I am impressed that the second book was just as good as the first. Once again a book I didn't want to put down. Flypaper Opus is filled with a perfect blend of suspense and humor. I can't wait to start book three.
